Picnic in the garden – Playte Tiny

The children will enjoy a picnic in the garden with the goose, the grasshopper, and the mole, and along the way, they will practice colors and numbers.

We’ll throw one of the dice (and later both) and choose a bite to eat based on the result.

Includes 2 specially designed large dice children can’t swallow

Ages 18m-4y

The objective

Eat and uncover the beautiful day at the garden.

Setting up

Place food bites on all three areas. Try not to place food on the borders, and even leave some gap, so the child can notice the different areas.

Make sure the food does not cover the areas completely, so the child can detect the color underneath.

How to play?

Roll the color dice. Pick a bite of food to eat according to the color indicated by the dice.

For children learning to count, you can combine the numbers dice and through both dice at once. This way the child eats the number of bits according to the dice roll, from the color area indicated by the color dice.

Parent tip

You can place one food type per color area, but if you’d like to enhance the child’s sense of control, you should place 2 food types at each color area. This way when the dice indicates a color, the child can still make their own choices between 2 food types.

Technical information

They are dishwasher safe, but are not suitable for use in microwaves or ovens.
