Chicken and Rice Kids Love

This is my daughters’ favorite lunch. Every day. In any situation. It’s a simple dish to prepare and delicious to eat. Win-Win.

What's on the plate

  • Chicken breast strips
  • Rice
  • Cucumber slices (or any other vegetable you prefer)

Ingredients

  • Chicken strips
  • Cooked rice
  • Cucumber
  • Oil

 

Sauce ingredients

  • Ground ginger
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup

(You can double the sauce quantities according to your preference)

  1. Stir-fry the chicken strips with a little oil, and when they turn white, add the sauce ingredients. Cook for about two minutes.
  2. You can serve the chicken strips over the rice and mix together.
Or you can serve it on a game plate, which really gets them excited :)
