Kid-Friendly Rolled Tortilla Recipe

Many times when we’re tired of all the regular meals with sandwiches and toasts, I remember tortillas. It feels like an excellent solution to me – it allows for many types of toppings, the presentation is fun and different, and most importantly – it adds variety and makes the girls happy. We can imagine we’ve traveled to Mexico.

What's on the plate

  • Rolled tortilla with various toppings

  • Cucumber slices

  • Halved cherry tomatoes

Ingredients

  • Tortilla

  • Egg

  • Cucumber

  • Cherry tomatoes

  1. Make a flat omelet, place it on the tortilla, and roll it up. Cut into slices and place on the plate.
  2. I stuck the edge with a tiny bit of white cheese to keep the tortilla from unrolling (the cheese isn’t noticeable).
  3. In the same way, you can roll the tortilla with a slice of yellow cheese, avocado, soft white cheese, tuna salad, cottage cheese, and anything else you want.
  4. You can of course add vegetables too.
  5. The tortilla slices make for one or two bites and are a fun way to eat.

Arrange the rolled tortilla slices, cucumber slices, and halved cherry tomatoes on a game plate, and enjoy!
