Kid-Friendly Pancake Recipe

How wonderful it is to hear the cheers of joy when you say – today we’re making pancakes for dinner! The girls already know and “manage” their meal according to the rule – healthy toppings first and only at the end – the sweet ones. So we start with cottage cheese, white cheese or yellow cheese, and finally get to chocolate and maple syrup. They earn it fair and square.

What's on the plate

  • Cucumber slices

  • Yellow cheese cubes

  • Pancake

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  1. Whisk together egg, oil, sour cream, and sugar into a uniform mixture.
  2. Add flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix until lumps disappear.
  3. You can let this “rest” in the refrigerator for half an hour, but it’s not mandatory.
  4. Fry with a little oil or on a dry non-stick pan and serve.
Arrange the pancakes, cucumber pieces, and yellow cheese cubes on a game plate, and enjoy!
